Argh, with how bad I am doing, thinking of trying something different, like maybe a CSAT. For those who have had experience with this, will you please tell me about your experiences with it? The prospect of trying a CSAT Really freaks me out, but I figure I will try Anything if it will help.

never heard of it until now
"How would it be any different than any other therapist?"

CSAT was critical for me
"They understand your mind and will call BS on you. Frankly our ability to lie and minimize and whatever usually outmatches most therapists.

CSAT are trained to get to an SA family of origin issues.

I have done lifestar and CSAT. Both had value for me but the CSAT was more programmatic to digging out the "Stuff""

"What kinds of stuff do you do with a CSAT? What is the therapy like? Will I have to reveal all the disgusting details of my addiction to my hubbers? (I hope not)"

No you dont have to share all the details
"But you do have to be honest with him and have him part of your recovery team.'re running this race together + the pain that has been caused has to be repaired. Of course if he isnt willing to work on things, might makr it more diffucult...

Intimacy isnt just sex, its also being able to talk about 'feelings' + things at your core of you. Places you need help...places not always fun to look at.
there is a significant amount of work that has to be done here...healing takes time. if u dont grow together, you grow apart. your kids will know soon enough what you have done...they alreay know something is wrong.

The good news of the gospel is Jesus has overcome the world, and can redeem our souls from esence 'save' us....
in my opinion...I think the first stages of repentence is just getting back up...repentence is also a timing thing, and involves the lords,ll see that as u go along..."

"oh they for sure have helped me! You just got to find the one that clicks with you. I have found with myself if I'm walking out and want to act out in my addiction cuz the negitivity some do-that therapist is NOT no way for me. If I get inspired by one after a mtg-he or she the one. My sponsor been to million 12 step mtgs but she said what worked for her finally was her therapist. I feel we need all. Mtgs, therapist, friends from mtgs, and main PRAYER."

I would say go to a few to try out.
"I have learned by a few therapist and they were all good in what they brought to help me...but some really do suck. :/ some are worth it. I could tell you my sponsor therapist name. I really didn't like him but he works for alot of people in a great way. You might like him. Whoever works for you. def recommend trying out a few but again I feel it's feeling you feel after you leave a session....feeling like crap and low-again no way back. Feeling so inspired, feeling getting healed, getting out crap but feeling good,..learning-that therapist is a Angel."

"@Marie--Thanks :) I'm looking into therapists. One emailed me back and said that they are all different with different viewpoints on things. I'll check out Dan Gray. Thanks for the recommendation :)"

"Develop discipline of self so that, more and more, you do not have to decide and redecide what you will do when you are confronted with the same temptation time and time again. You need only to decide some things once. How great a blessing it is to be free of agonizing over and over again regarding a temptation. "
