911 Alert System Call for Help

The LDSAR.org 911 Alert System is an attempt to put into practice the words of Alma in Mosiah 18:8-9:
". . . and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another's burdens, that they may be light; Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in . . ."
Hopefully we, as members of LDSAR, can help each other in those critical moments when we most need it, and can truly become a SUPPORT group. Please do not abuse this system.

How the 911 Alert System Works

Each LDSAR.org member can specify up to 3 ways (email addresses and/or cell phone numbers) of being contacted by the 911 Alert System. When an alert is received by the system, an email and/or text message is sent to each member of LDSAR, with your message requesting help. This alert will NOT have your email address or any contact information on it. The alert is just a preview of the sender's help request, and a request to login to LDSAR.org, where members will be able to provide support and help through a special 911 Alert page that will be visible when they login. When an alert is activated, it will remain active for 24 hours.

Once again, PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THIS SYSTEM! Some members pay for each text message they receive. Plus, let's all remember the story of the little boy who cried 'wolf'. If we use this system in the way it is intended, it will be a source of help for us when we are in desparate times.

"The solution to this problem ultimately is neither governmental nor institutional. Nor is it a question of legality. It is a matter of individual choice and commitment. Agency must be understood. The importance of the will in making crucial choices must be known. Then steps toward relief can follow."
